Program Name: Flatsmith Alerts & Updates

Program Description: By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated and/or manual SMS/MMS messages from Flatsmith, including service updates, reminders, and promotional messages related to your relationship with us. Message frequency varies.

Opt-Out Instructions

To stop receiving messages, text STOP to our short code or 10DLC long code number. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation SMS and you will no longer receive messages from us. To resume, see “Rejoining.”

Rejoining Instructions

If you previously opted out and would like to rejoin, sign up again via our website forms, client onboarding, or by requesting enrollment. We will resume sending SMS/MMS messages to you.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Compliance & Standards

  • We comply with applicable laws, carrier requirements, and industry standards, including the CTIA Short Code Monitoring Handbook.
  • Our program may send recurring messages; we will honor opt-out requests immediately upon receipt of STOP.
  • We do not require you to provide sensitive personal information over SMS.

Prohibited Content & Carrier Enforcement

We prohibit phishing/smishing, illegal content, and other content categories that violate carrier rules (including SHAFT: sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco, unless compliant with all applicable laws such as age-gating). Carriers may block offending traffic and impose fines for violations. Repeated or severe violations may result in suspension of messaging access.

Eligibility & Responsibility

  • You must be the account holder or have permission of the mobile account holder to opt in.
  • Service is intended for individuals 18+.
  • You are responsible for any charges from your carrier for SMS/MMS usage.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Mobile Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted at this URL with a new “Effective” date.
